Day 2 – 10 things you love about lolita (not in any order)
- Modesty - it's nice when you don't have to always try to be sexy.
- Floral prints - vintage and charming.
- Bonnets - cute and very under-utilized in my opinion.
- Lace-up boots - rough, tough and durable - adventure shoes!
- Art (Specifically Imai Kira's and Maki's illustrations) - absolute love (I collect their post cards)
- Fawn collars & mufflers - cute and fuzzy, reminds me of the forest.
- Peter pan collars - sweet, soft and lacy, work outside of Lolita as well.
- Rabbit prints - must I say more?
- Biscuit motifs - a recent favorite, I'm very much in love with the French Cafe series.
- Laid-out coordinates - eye candy ♪
Mmm, I second floral prints and fawn collars! My great-grandfather was a ladies tailor, and I have a few collars that come off of garments he made. I love them!
ReplyDeleteI have the OP from the 7th image, and the lace on the collar is lovely. It doesn't fit me, though. :/
(Sorry if this is posted multiple times. I had some trouble posting.)
No problem, I'm thinking about buying the skirt version. ^_^
ReplyDeleteWhere is that fawn collar from?
ReplyDeleteThe collar is an older release from Innocent World.
