Unusual Brand Item #5

This edition's silly brand item comes from BTSSB! It may be just me, but these little earrings remind me of magical unicorn droppings. We've all seen silicone used to simulate icing or whipped cream, but in my opinion this just looks a little lazy and out of place. The earrings are available in two different styles, one for pierced and pierced ears. I don't think a small icing squirt matches any of Baby's designs.

If you are interested in Baby unicorn poop, they can be found here on Baby's website.

Snow Flakes and Earmuffs

Yesterday, I was able to complete my earmuffs! Plus a little panda stuffed animal for one of my friends for Christmas. I got the pattern from a cute Japanese book called "Palm-Sized Softies". I most likely post a few scans at a later post. I also managed to do something I had wanted to do for weeks, but couldn't find the time for... paper snowflakes!

Aren't they cute?

Craft Post: Deer Accessories

For several months, I have been on a quest for faux deer fur to make a collar, similar to one Innocent World made. It surprised me how many different types of mythical tiger furs I could find, but no simple spotted deer fur! I wanted the piece not only for myself, but for a student-produced fashion show that I will be designing for at the end of the school year. After scouring the internet to no avail, I came upon this little treasure!  A toddler's Bambi jacket! for $8.50 shipped! My heart leaped with joy! When it arrived, I promptly cut it up and made a large and small collar. I also plan to make ear muffs, boot toppers and maybe a muffler if I have enough fabric...probably not ;)

Plans for earmuffs. The headband looks like chocolate icing, doesn't it?

Happy Belated ILD

Sooo, I know I seemed to have missed International Lolita day (December 4th). Though I regret this, I would love to see or hear what you did to celebrate! I should start making plans for the next Lolita Day...
